MamaKit for mothers

We are hearing that our colleagues in Tigray are finding it very difficult to even provide the most basic of health care due to the current humanitarian crises in the region; the UN has estimated 4 million people are in need of aid.

Since the civil war we have been providing Mama Kits ,which include basic nutrition- gruel (3kg), a blanket for mother & baby and bars of antiseptic soap. The regional health bureau has also joined the project as well as other NGOs and mothers are coming to deliver in safe healthcare environments, as a result of this provision.

We have provided over 500 of these kits to displaced mothers and their babies, securing warmth, nutrition, cleanliness and clothing.
