This project supported Mulubrham, an ex-professional cyclist who has taken 38 Mekelle street kids under his wing, coached them in cycling, secured their schooling and helped them find safe accommodation. He does this in his spare time, out of good will.

With our help he was given a scholarship to study the British Cycle Coaching qualification due to support from one of our volunteers.

Mulubrham's aspiration is to establish a cycling academy - accessible to all homeless children - that provides a safe place to eat, sleep and train, a platform which is essential in supporting their move from the street to school attendance. Due to civil unrest our support for this project has not been able to continue sadly but we support our friend in these hard times.
