It was wonderful to receive this certificate of appreciation for the work we have managed to achieve despite the consraints of the pandemic and civil war.

Our Wittem partners have now taken on the running of the Mama kit project on a larger scale , which is very exciting for the displaced mothers who are benefitting from this.

It’s still a very challenging time in Ethiopia for our colleagues. The staff still face many challenges but not as severe as those in 2022 ( see link). Services are running and some projects have been established with our friends in country. You can view the full statement here

We are hearing that our colleagues in Tigray are finding it very difficult to even provide the most basic of health care due to the current humanitarian crises in the region; the UN has estimated 4 million people are in need of aid. Since the civil war we have been providing Mama Kits ,which include basic nutrition- gruel (3kg), a blanket for mother & baby and bars of antiseptic soap.
